Mike Ewing was born and raised in Hastings, NE. He attended Kearney State College now (University of Nebraska Kearney) in the Pre-Mortuary Science Program. He then attended and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas Texas. While in school there he worked and then managed Avalon Mortuary Service a large embalming service, He attributes many of his preparation room skills to that job. In 1989 Mike married his high school sweetheart Robynn and a year later they came to Fremont to work for Ed Moser at Moser Memorial Chapel and Robynn at Fremont Area Medical Center as a Radiologic Technician. Mike has been involved with his church, Fremont Chamber of Commerce as a Diplomat and past Diplomat President and on several chamber boards. He was past District 1 Nebraska Funeral Directors Association President and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. Mike enjoys outdoor sports and hunting and shooting. He has been and is current President of the Elkhorn Valley Riffle Club at Arlington, NE and has been a committee member for Ducks Unlimited and Delta Waterfowl for many years. He likes to give back to the community and especially the kids by helping them to get outside and try a sport. Mike learned the Funeral Directing aspect of the job from one of the best, Ed Moser. His attention to detail has been passed on to Mike. Mike is here not only by choice but considers the funeral business more of a calling to him. 24/7 365 days a year Mike and his great staff will be here to serve you when you need it most.

Paul Von Seggern is a licensed Funeral Director and embalmer. He is also licensed in Pre - Need Insurance in the state of Nebraska.
Paul is the president elect of the Nebraska Funeral Directors Association and was a former district President of the Nebraska Funeral Directors Association.
Paul was born and raised in Fremont and currently lives in Fremont with his 2 daughters, Maris and Skylar. He graduated from Fremont Archbishop Bergan High School and Midland Lutheran College, where he was a member of the track and field and soccer teams. Paul completed Mortuary school in Kansas City, Kansas.
Paul's hobbies include going to the YMCA, running, biking, golfing, climbing mountains, and traveling. He is a member of Sinai Lutheran Church in Fremont and former vice president of the church council. Paul is a board member of the Fremont Family YMCA, Fremont Golf Club, and past president of Rebuilding Together Platte Valley East. He was honored in 2021, as Fremont's "20 under 40" prestigious group.
