Edward L. Schoenherr, 47 years, of Fremont, NE died Thursday, April 26, 2012 at his home.
He was born May 7, 1964 at Mascoutah, Illinois to Gerald and JoAnn (Orlet) Schoenherr. He was a graduate of St. Dominic High School at O’Fallon, MO. Edward married Debbie Diehl on February 21, 1987 at O’Fallon, MO. He was employed at U.P.S. as their automotive fleet manager. In 2004, he moved to Nebraska and had been residing in Fremont since January 2009. Edward was an avid NASCAR fan, an outdoorsman, and enjoyed cooking, motorcycles, and his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Deb; son, Travis Schoenherr and fiancée, Linsee Hagen of Colon, NE; daughter, Diana Schoenherr of Maryville, MO; parents, Gerald and JoAnn Schoenherr of O’Fallon, MO; brothers, David & wife, Amy Schoenherr of Lees Summit, MO and Stephen & wife, Jen Schoenherr of Defiance, MO; sisters, Barbara & husband, Terry Patton of Ballwin, MO and Laura & husband, Ted Thorp of Lake Sherwood, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Arlene Laird and his grandparents.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM, on Monday, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. Father Jim Keiter will officiate. A vigil service/rosary will be held at 6 PM on Sunday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation on Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM at the funeral home and on Monday at church 1hr prior to service.
