John Vieth John H. Vieth, 76 years, of Fremont, NE died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at his home in Fremont.

He was born December 7, 1935 in Fremont, NE to Herbert and Gretchen (Kerwin) Vieth. John was a lifetime resident of Fremont. He graduated from Fremont High School in 1954. He worked for Christensen Lumber and then Larson Chevrolet for 25 years and at Floor Brite for 25 years.

Survivors include: daughters – Brenda and husband Kenneth Vyhlidal of Fremont, NE, Lianna Vieth of Columbus, NE and Danyll and husband John Jankovich; son – John L. Vieth of Fremont, NE; sister – Deloris and husband Kenneth Anderson of Lyons, NE; brother-in-law – Melvin Halkens of Auburn, NE; 4 grandchildren – Meghan, & Justin Vyhlidal and Dustin & Dillon Vieth; and 1 great grandchild – Tucker Vyhlidal.

He was preceded in death by: parents; and sister – Delenna Halkens.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Father Jim Keiter will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 P.M. Wednesday with family receiving friends 5:30-7:30 P.M. Visitation will continue 9-11 A.M. Thursday, prior to the service all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
